You play as Johnny Turbo, equipped with rockets hidden in your arms and a chainsaw that extends from your lower leg and allows you to slice up your enemies.

In this Blade Runner-meets-DOOM hellscape, Johnny returns to his hometown of Paradise to find the entire population possessed by Syn, a renegade AI, and his army of augmented minions. Desperate to get enough money to overcome his past mistakes, Johnny accepts the impossible mission to destroy the greatest AI ever created. Rival bounty hunters want to get their hands on the prize before anyone else. Nothing is easy in Paradise.

Turbo Overkill takes over-the-top to previously unheard of levels. Activate Turbo Time(™), a new form of slow motion with a twist. Build up incredible speed by wall-running and sprinting. Slide with your chainsaw leg, eviscerating enemies and tearing open bosses for critical damage, and car-surf across the hoods of flying cars. Shoot with the Twin Magnums, which lock on and insta-kill multiple enemies, the Boomer shotgun and its attached grenade launcher, or the Telefragger sniper rifle, which teleports Johnny inside an enemy before they explode from within.
